The American Jigsaw Puzzle Society is made up of
jigsaw puzzle enthusiasts from the United States, Canada, Mexico
and countries around the world. Membership is open to all,
and is free. Our only requirement is that you have an
interest in jigsaw puzzles. That interest can be in
assembling jigsaw puzzles, collecting jigsaw puzzles, or other
aspects of the hobby, such as jigsaw puzzle design. The purpose
of this website is to provide news about jigsaw puzzle events,
reviews of jigsaw puzzles, and informative articles about jigsaw
puzzles. We welcome your input.

The AGPC is the
only national organization dedicated to the collection and
preservation of games and puzzles, and to the research on their
history. It is a nonprofit group, staffed entirely be dedicated
volunteers. AGPC members' interest encompass all types of games,
from the colonial era card games to the latest game fads, as
well as jigsaw puzzles, mechanical puzzles, tops, blocks,
marbles and toys. These wonderful, colorful items offer an
exceptional view into America's cultural past. Members range
from novice collectors to some of the world's foremost game
collectors and historians. The AGPC also welcomes libraries,
museums, scholars, companies, antique dealers and friends as
members. Originally known as the American Game Collectors
Association (AGCA), the organization's name was changed to AGPC
in 1999 to reflect the broader scope of its mission and its
international nature. |
